Message test it with the 2 different plugs and possibly a dyno run to see if the difference is discernable on a graph. If your theory is correct I would think the responsiveness of the engine would be sharper since the energy transfer is more immediate and not delayed by the reflection theory.
Off topic, your down in the neck of the woods where I go fishing all the time. I don't know if you're into flats fishing but I'll throw the offer out there if interested. Mosquito Lagoon is practically across the street from where your living now.
